The Executive Committee

A graduate of the École Polytechnique and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Matthieu Chabanel began his career in the field of water resource management at the Agence de l’Eau Seine Normandie. In 2006, he joined the Ministry of Transport as Deputy Director of Inland and Coastal Ports, before becoming Director of Ports and Inland Waterway Transport in 2008. In August 2010, Matthieu Chabanel was appointed technical adviser on Transport, Infrastructure and Urban Planning Issues to the office of the French Prime Minister. In April 2012, he joined Réseau Ferré de France as Assistant Managing Director, responsible for commercial relations, regulation and network planning. In 2014, in the context of the creation of SNCF Réseau, Matthieu Chabanel became Assistant Managing Director for Maintenance and Works. In 2018, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director and took charge of the company's industrial and technical performance. Finally, from 2020 to June 2022, he was Deputy Managing Director of Projects, Maintenance and Operations, with responsibility for all of the company's operational teams. He took over as head of SNCF Réseau in October 2022. 

A graduate of Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and École Nationale d’Administration, Alain Quinet held a variety of positions in government economic and finance departments from 1988 onwards. In 2002 he was appointed economic adviser to the French Prime Minister, and in 2005 he joined the Prime Minister’s office as deputy chief of staff for economic affairs. In 2007, he was appointed inspector general for finance and became a member of the board of directors of Réseau Ferré de France (RFF). From 2008 to 2010, he was chief financial officer at Caisse des Dépôts Group and chairman of CDC Infrastructure. In December 2010, Alain Quinet became RFF’s Deputy Managing Director. He has also been a member of France’s Economic Council for Sustainable Development since 2008 and a member of the French National Economic Commission since 2010. 

A graduate of the École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile and with an Executive Master's degree from Sciences Po and the University of St Andrews, Damien Pallant has spent most of his career with Air France, where he has held various operational management and transformation positions, rising in 22 years from co-pilot to director in charge of operational performance. He joined SNCF in 2016 as the Group's Assistant Managing Director for Safety. In March 2020, he was appointed to the SNCF Voyageurs Executive Committee as SNCF Voyageurs’ Director for Safety. He initiated a transformation of the company's safety culture while making SNCF Voyageurs a pilot company in the implementation of the regulatory framework of the 4th European railway package in terms of safety. He was appointed Assistant Managing Director for Safety at SNCF Réseau in March 2022. 

A graduate of the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Vincent Téton has held various positions within SNCF since joining the group in 1994. He has held a number of positions in Infrastructure establishments (Montpellier, Paris Sud-Est), in Passenger establishments (Nancy, Paris-Montparnasse) and in central management, notably as Sales Director at SNCF Voyage and Director of Passenger Information. In 2013, he joined SNCF Réseau as Director of Maintenance and Works for the South-East, before becoming Director of the TER for the Grand Est region at SNCF Mobilités in 2016. After four years as Director of the South-East Production Zone, Vincent Téton was appointed Assistant Managing Director of Operations and Production in 2022. 

Florence Dartiguepeyrou holds a Maîtrise in Classics, a Diplôme d’Études Approfondies (DEA) in Art History and a Mastère in Media from ESCP Europe Business School. She began her career as a project coordinator at Canal+’s Programming Division before joining the group’s digital subsidiary. From 2002 onwards she held various consulting positions at communications agencies, where she did work for several large companies, local authorities and agencies of the French State (health, transport, banking and CSR). In 2015 she became Company Secretary at an independent communications agency where she had previously been head of the Branding division, to support the agency’s development by managing organisational, legal and HR matters. At the same time, from 2008 to 2019 she contributed to the work of the Sustainable Development Committee of the French Association of Communications Consulting Agencies (AACC). She joined SNCF Réseau in 2019 as Director of External and Internal Communications, and became Assistant Managing Director of Communications in July 2020. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Florence Dartiguepeyrou's role is to develop the company's influence in relation to all its external and internal stakeholders and to support the "Tous SNCF Ambition Réseau" corporate project.
